"Team Vera" Promise Walk for Preeclampsia
The Promise Walk for Preeclampsia™ supports the mission of the Preeclampsia Foundation—providing patient support and education, raising public awareness, catalyzing research and improving health care practices for millions of mothers and their babies every year who are impacted by preeclampsia and related hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.
We are happy to announce that for the second year in a row, our practice participated in the Promise Walk for Preeclampsia as Team Vera! Mothers and babies are at the heart of all we do here at Maternal-Fetal Medicine Associates of Maryland, and we are well on our way to improving patient and provider awareness for preeclampsia as well as helping to fund preeclampsia research and its connection to short- and long-term health risks.
While our primary goal is to educate our patients and their families on the dangers of Preeclampsia and other hypertensive disorders, monetary donations are needed as well. Every little bit helps!

In 2018 Team Vera was a huge success with over 55 team members! We raised the most of any team in the Washington D.C. area with an impressive $5,410!
